A few years ago I was learning how the Lord would speak to us. I didn’t have much experience. I had started going to Harold and Kim’s study group and was pursuing a relationship with the Lord. I was offered a position at work, one that I had been wanting for along time. I wasn’t sure what to do so I called Kim and she told me to get quiet and ask God. Well I did and I immediately thought he said to take the job. For the next 4 days I was miserable. It wasn’t really what I heard, it was what I wanted to hear. So, while I was in my boss’s office turning down the job I had wanted so bad, I heard him say “if you take this job you won’t know me. ” That was all I needed. The journey began.
